I'm all about hacking

Hi, My name is Ben. I graduated from the University of Southern California studying Computer Engineering & Computer Science.

I am finally done with my college, but I am not afraid to share my projects so far! I have gone to 17 hackathons.

Not a day goes by when I don't think about programming and you might even say I am "a bit" obessed with it. I got my start in programming through FIRST Robotics and when I started programming as a sophomore, in high school I was fascinated by the prospect of being able to write a few lines of code and have a robot actually do something!

Attention to Detail

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I won't rest until something is absolutely perfect. I love what I do and I want to be able to say that I am proud of all of my work.

Pixel Perfect

I work closely with designers on a regular basis to make gorgeous user interfaces and experiences in my projects. I love working on beautiful products and I know that users will enjoy using them.

Innovation

I love doing new and exciting things and spend most of my time hacking on various side projects.

Hardware

I believe that hardwares are changing the world faster than we have ever seen before and I am excited to take part in shaping the future!

Internship in Production Team and Software Team
Built the components of the robot
Developed window applications for the service robot with Kinect sensor

Student Research Assistant
Research project focused on the interaction between the robot and human
Developed a web application that communicates between Web Page and Linux Server
Programmed a robot with ROS Library in Python

Sony Interactive Entertainment

May 23, 2016 - August 12, 2016

Software Engineer Intern in QA client team
Worked on developing features in automation test framework to test UI components on PS4 (PlayStation 4) applications
Developed mobile automation test framework that support testing on multiple physical machines in parallel and cloud machines

Freelance project to develop an application to grade OMR sheets and record results per student
Implemented OMR and OCR detections using OpenCV Library
Developed Desktop application using PyQt
